This weekend was a struggle between balancing out family time and doing school work. I had a four page paper due today. I had started the paper but had not quite finished it. I also have work to do for my Grammar class and study for test that I have tomorrow. Both Saturday and Sunday I had family events. Saturday we had family over and of coarse I want to interact and spend time. I don't want to be rude and not spend time with them plus, we only get to see them once in a while. Sunday we celebrated my Uncle's birthday at his house. So guess what I decided to do? I sat Sunday night and did everything I had to do! I was up all night. It was my fault in a way because I kind of crammed everything in. However, when it comes choosing between my family and school work, I will always choose my family. Our schedules are always different so when we get time to sit down together its okay to drop everything and spend time with them.
I think that it's great that you spent time with your family. Life gets so chaotic that sometime you lose touch with those that matter the most. Choosing your family over school or work isn't always easy, but it's something that you never regret.
